I also appreicated that it was mentioned to look for whether more authoritarian influences within religious groups may be encouraging more potential maltreatment than the parent themselves may be comfortable with. While I believe that people ultimately choosing what is best for them and following their beliefs, I think it is also important to monitor potential detrimental effects it may have on the children. I recently just discovered this podcast due to a course I am currently taking but have already downloaded several episodes I would like to listen to. The information presented is done so in a very understandable manner, which is appreciated.

-BriannaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06223816521552724991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2439022946992160518.post-47497352351660719402022-07-10T12:48:26.481-05:002022-07-10T12:48:26.481-05:00I found this topic very interesting. I am in a Child Welfare class and I have lots to about it and have to write about it but I won't talk alot about it here. I will just say that this topic is very spot on and how it's wrong for people to assume that they will be punished if they dont obey God. I believe that this is a situation that is getting out of control and being used more and more as a way to abuse kids and "get away with it".

TrondAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18338046446839506415noreply@blogger.com
